Donald Trump said President George W. Bush’s decision to not vote for him was “sad.”
The former president and his wife, Laura Bush, voted two weeks ago but did not vote for either the Republican candidate or Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
Appearing on a radio interview Tuesday evening on the “Howie Carr Show” on WRKO, Trump said the Bush’s decision had no “impact.”
“I think it’s sad,” he said on the radio show. “I think it’s sad, you know. When I see George Bush do that, and look I was very critical of him getting us into Iraq, which was obviously a horrible decision, and getting out the way Obama got us out was a horrible way to get out too--the combination. I don’t think it has any impact, frankly. I think it has no impact.”
