Wonder how presidential candidate Donald Trump is watching the election?
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani described to The Washington Post what's going on in Trump Tower right now: His candidate is following the election on TV with a Diet Coke in hand. The Republican nominee had reportedly not eaten dinner yet at around 6 p.m. ET
Giuliani told the candidate not to watch any coverage until the results are in to no avail. Trump is reportedly "watching everything even though I'm telling him not to." The small gathering of people in Trump's New York City apartment were dining on American fare and appetizers.
Giuliani left the party Tuesday evening to do a television appearance, but he said Trump is staying calm as results begin rolling in.
"We're all cautiously optimistic," Giuliani said. "We think it's going to be very, very close. We know there is a populism across the country that's powerful and he has been lifted by it."
