Delta Projects Strong 2025 Earnings, Shares Surge in Pre-Market

Citing strong demand and operational efficiency, Delta Air Lines (DAL, Financials) projects 2025 profits per share to reach $7.35 and free cash flow to top $4 billion. According to Delta's release, operational revenue for the December quarter was $15.6 billion and, adjusted, was $14.4 billion. On both a GAAP and modified basis, operating income came out to be $1.7 billion. On a GAAP basis, pre-tax income was $1.2 billion; adjusted it comes to $1.6 billion.
