Dalradian intersects 2.04 metres at 63.98 g/t gold at Curraghinalt

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 31, 2017) - Dalradian Resources Inc. (DNA.TO)(DALR.L) ("Dalradian" or the "Company") announces additional results from its underground drill program at the Curraghinalt gold deposit in Northern Ireland. The Company concluded its most recent phase of drilling in May, having completed approximately 9,580 metres in 27 holes. Results are still pending for 9 holes. Preparations are underway to drill approximately 30,000 metres from surface this summer, consisting of primarily step-out holes.

Highlights

  • 2.04 m of 63.98 g/t gold from the 106-16 vein in hole 17-CT-423

  • 1.37 m of 75.69 g/t gold from the V75 vein in hole 17-CT-418

  • 1.98 m of 25.60 g/t gold from the 106-16 vein in hole 17-CT-419

  • 0.95 m of 50.24 g/t gold from the Crow vein in hole 17-CT-423

  • 0.56 m of 74.15 g/t gold from the 106-16 vein in hole 17-CT-413

  • 0.74 m of 29.44 g/t gold from the No. 1 vein in hole 17-CT-413

Patrick F.N. Anderson, Dalradian's President and CEO, commented:

"Our drilling continues to demonstrate the high-grade nature of the Curraghinalt deposit. We expect to release one more round of results from underground drilling and soon will commence a surface drill program to test the strike extensions of the deposit.

I am also pleased to report that since the end of March we have raised an additional $1 million through warrant exercises."

Details of underground drilling at Curraghinalt

Results are being reported for 9 drill holes for a total of 3,267 metres located in the central part of the Curraghinalt deposit (see plan map and one cross section at http://www.dalradian.com/news-and-events/news-releases/news-releases-details/May-31-2017-News-Release-Figures). These holes were drilled at varying intervals targeting some of the veins included in the last mineral resource estimate (see the Company's Technical Report, as defined below, dated January 25, 2017) in zones where increased drill-hole density would likely result in conversion of resource ounces from the Inferred to the Indicated category. Some of the drill holes were designed to also yield geotechnical data for a planned update of the geotechnical model during 2017. Most drill holes were oriented generally towards the south in order to intercept the steeply north dipping vein array. All of the holes were drilled from underground.

Notes

  • True widths vary depending on the vein zone intersected but generally average 85% of the down hole interval

  • Intercepts are calculated using samples greater than or equal to 2.0g/t Au, and contain no more than 1.0 m of internal dilution

  • Generally, only those mineralized intercepts exceeding 10 gram-metres have been included in the table

  • 17-CT-403 intercepted the projected veins, but no further significant mineralisation was encountered beyond that already reported in the press release of April 26, 2017
