Dainese Full Metal D1 Leather Motorcycle Gloves

Glovin’ Every Minute of It

In 1968, 20-year-old Lino Dainese and some buddies rode Vespas to London from Italy. There he saw his first set of leathers worn by local bikers. Inspired by what he saw, Lino opened Dainese in 1972, selling its first pair of motorcycle pants. Today, as it was 40 years ago, the company’s motto is “safety means protection, comfort, and reliability.” The Dainese Full Metal D1 racing glove continues this mission. Designed for the racetrack, the Full Metal is made with the latest technology and highest safety standards. Taking a cue from the pros, Full Metal D1 gloves are constructed with titanium, carbon fiber, and DuPont Kevlar, boasting the strongest materials available today.

Built to protect against the greatest risks during a fall, the Full Metal D1 is constructed of cowhide and features a leather palm reinforcement. Carbon and titanium inserts protect the knuckles and back of the hand. A single leather panel on the side of the hand for performance shock and DuPont Kevlar fiber stitching round out the Full Metal D1’s design.
