HAVANA, June 16 (Reuters) - Cuba's government on Friday denounced U.S. President Donald Trump's new measures to tighten the blockade on the island as a "setback" in U.S.-Cuban relations and said they would not weaken the revolution.
In a statement read out on the evening news, the government reiterated its willingness to "continue the respectful dialogue and cooperation on matters of mutual interest." (Reporting by Sarah Marsh, Marc Frank and Nelson Acosta; Editing by Leslie Adler)
