Costa Rica central bank cuts interest rate to 9-year low

SAN JOSE, June 20 (Reuters) - Costa Rica's Central Bank on Saturday cut its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 3.5 percent, a 9 year low, taking advantage of tame inflation to boost growth.

The move marked the central bank's fifth interest-rate cut this year.
