All around the world, work is being radically redefined by the COVID-19 pandemic. For those lucky enough to still have jobs, work is happening in all sorts of unexpected places —from rooftops to backyards and everywhere in between. Many, including doctors, nurses and other “essential workers,” must leave the safety of their homes to help others. Amid the stress and anxiety, people are using their imaginations and great courage to get the job done.
