("CTI") (COPY), a company specializing in patent monetization and patent assertion, today announced that it has added a patent covering encrypted cellular communications, to its portfolio of encryption patents. The patent, which originally issued in 2008, covers encrypted point-to-point communications over a cellular communications network, and includes encrypted audio communications between a cell phone and another cell phone, a computer, and other telephonic devices.
