Commanders, Bank of America join forces to build affordable homes in Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — The Washington Commanders and Bank of America joined forces to build affordable homes in the Montgomery County area.
The two organizations teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to build 27 new homes in Silver Spring. Volunteers will also build a community shed.

Volunteers hope this effort will help families.
“I love everything about it,” Habitat for Humanity volunteer Joshua Morgan said. “They definitely trying to create generational wealth for families.”
