Close Brothers Broker Solutions has expanded its team with the appointment of Rachel Eckersley-Fallon as head of operations.
In a statement, the company stated that she would play a “key role” in driving the team’s goal of becoming the “preferred funder” for brokers, vendors, and intermediaries.
Eckersley-Fallon has more than two decades of experience in leading back-office operations teams within the financial sector. She previously held roles at Allica Bank, Santander, and Lombard.
She will also focus on improving the company's back-office operations and optimising the customer journey.
Commenting on her appointment, Eckersley-Fallon said: “I’m delighted to be working with Richard and the team at Close Brothers Broker Solutions. It’s a very exciting moment in our evolution as we continue the work of bringing together our various broker teams and driving significant value.
“I’m passionate that the operations teams deliver first-class service to our Broker partners, with a consistent ‘customer first’ culture across the teams being the goal.”
Eckersley-Fallon previously collaborated with Close Brothers managing director Richard Cameron at Allica Bank. Together, they played a key role in designing and building the operations function to create an automated, paperless back office that streamlined the release of funds.
Cameron said: “As one of the fastest-growing asset funders in the UK, Rachel joins at an exciting time for the business; I’m really looking forward to seeing her utilise her significant experience in the coming months and years as we look to help the UK’s businesses continue to grow and thrive.”
Last year, Close Brothers launched a new division, Close Brothers Broker Solutions, to simplify its market-leading broker offering and provide a single point of contact for brokers.
The new division consolidates the services previously provided by Close Brothers Business Finance, Specialist Finance, Braemar Finance’s Broker team, and Corporate Asset Solutions.
"Close Brothers Broker Solutions appoints new operations head" was originally created and published by Leasing Life, a GlobalData owned brand.
