Jul. 26—Members of the Athens City Council, the Athens Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), and Raymond Stanford from Steritec Services LLC celebrated the approval of a $1.9 million loan to the company on July 22.

The funding will support the installation of abatement equipment to comply with EPA regulations and promote local economic growth.
