"Building on the success of our initial launch of the CIBC Investment Grade Bond Funds in January 2024, which have grown to over $1.3 billion in assets under management, we are incredibly excited to expand our lineup of target maturity funds. These solutions are designed to help investors reach their shorter-term savings goals with simplicity," said David Scandiffio, President and Chief Executive Officer, CIBC Asset Management.

Seeking to provide income over a predetermined period, the funds invest primarily in corporate and government bonds with maturity dates in the year stated within the fund name. As the bonds reach maturity, each fund’s portfolio will transition to cash and cash equivalents until the termination date on or around November 30th of the maturity year.

"We’ve enjoyed a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with CIBC for many years, with 19 CIBC ETFs and 55 CDRs now listed on Cboe Canada," noted Rob Marrocco, Global Head of ETF Listings at Cboe Global Markets. "The choice to list an entire suite of funds with Cboe Canada is further validation of our commitment to providing Cboe Listed issuers with a world class listing experience and ongoing support and expertise."

The nine new CIBC ETFs are now trading alongside ten CIBC ETFs already listed on Cboe Canada. Investors can trade units of CIBC ETFs through their usual investment channels, including discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers.
