BEIJING, March 5 (Reuters) - China will consolidate the gains made in the fight to defend the "blue of our skies", Premier Li Keqiang said on Monday in remarks prepared for delivery at the opening of the country's annual session of parliament.

China has ramped up its war on pollution in recent years, shutting some factories and holding officials accountable after central inspections.
