China reports 28 new coronavirus cases for Nov 7 vs 33 a day earlier
BEIJING, Nov 8 (Reuters) - China reported 28 new coronavirus cases in the mainland for Nov. 7 compared to 33 cases a day earlier, the health commission said on Sunday.
All the new infections were imported, according to a statement published by the National Health Commission.
China reported 36 new asymptomatic patients, compared to 27 a day earlier.
As of Saturday, mainland China had 86,212 confirmed coronavirus cases, the health authority said. The COVID-19 death toll stood at 4,634. (Reporting by Lusha Zhang and Norihiko Shirouzu; Editing by William Mallard)
