US-based casual dining chain The Cheesecake Factory has announced a menu overhaul, removing 13 items and introducing 22 new options, ranging from appetisers to mocktails.

The company updates its menu twice a year.

Among the discontinued items are the Everything Flatbread Pizza, the Mushroom Burger, White Chicken Chili, Spicy Cashew Chicken and Bistro Shrimp Pasta.

The Fried Shrimp Platter, the Petite Filet and Factory Combinations, Loaded Mashed Potato Omelette and Taco Dorados have also been removed.

Two "SkinnyLicious" options will no longer be available: Lemon Herb Parmesan Chicken and Spicy Shrimp Pasta.

The chain is expanding its menu with Grilled Asparagus with Lemon Ricotta, Toasted Almonds and Honey-roasted Carrots, as reported in Nation’s Restaurant News.

The menu will now include Chicken Shawarma served on pita bread with pickles, tomato, onion and garlic and a Mortadella Panino.

The "SkinnyLicious" menu is introducing new options, including branzino (a type of fish).

Other new dishes are Ahi Tuna & Shrimp Ceviche, Chicken & Jalapeño Fritters, a Double Smash Cheeseburger, Thai Stir-Fried Noodles with shrimp, and a Seared Tuna Tataki Salad.

New heartier items include Grilled Branzino, Steak Frites, Spicy Ginger Beef Tenderloin, and Grilled Steak and Eggs.

A Kids' Strawberry Shortcake has been introduced, along with adults' drinks Yuzu Crush, [a citrus drink], Yuzu and Fresh Lemon, Yuzu Drop, Margarita Verde and Japanese Whisky Sour.

The Cheesecake Factory operates 352 restaurants across Canada and the US, with 34 international locations under licensing agreements.

In October 2024, activist investor JCP Investment Management urged the chain to spin off three of its restaurant brands into a distinct public company.
