There’s a simple explanation and Koch lays it out for Serwer, explaining why it would be just fine with him to be called “liberal.”
Koch on Trump and Sanders
In the interview at the EY Strategic Growth Forum in Palm Springs, California, Koch also talks about Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, the traction they’ve gained in this election cycle so far, and what that says about the mindset of the country.
Koch says it is evidence that “Americans are very dissatisfied with the current direction [of the country].” He believes there’s an opportunity there. “What we hope to present is a third way, not socialism or not a strongman, both of them telling people how to live their lives.”
