CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce has crowned Champaign Jewelers as the 2024 Small Business of the Year.
This is the 13th year of the award, and the Chamber said it honors a local business which shows growth, commitment to the community, innovation and customer service. The Chamber said Champaign Jewelers has contributed meaningfully throughout the year.

Champaign Jewelers’ “Charity of the Month” program offers free watch battery replacements and band adjustments. They ask that in exchange, residents donate to a local charity. The business has supported the CU Autism Network, The Family Room, CASA, United Way of Champaign County and others through the Charity of the Month program.
Champaign Jewelers has also aided local events and causes like United Way of Champaign County’s Power of the Purse and CASA. The Chamber said the business has given money, donations and volunteer time over the years.
“Champaign Jewelers has set a high standard, not only for business success but also for community involvement,” Laura Weis, President and CEO of the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, said. “Their dedication to our community and their unwavering support of local organizations reflects the true spirit of this award. We are proud to celebrate their impact and look forward to seeing their continued contributions to Champaign County.”
The award was given to Champaign Jewelers on Friday, Nov. 8 at the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting.
