A Boston developer has expressed interest in demolishing the former BJ's headquarters on Research Drive in Westborough and replacing it with four new buildings.  The redevelopment proposed by Samuel & Associates, a commercial real estate broker, would total more than 600,000 square feet and be used as life science, manufacturing and research and development space. Currently, 25 Research Drive contains a 282,000-square-foot building that was built in 1965. Samuel & Associates is also looking at purchasing 29 Research Drive, which contains a 26,136-square-foot building and a storage yard currently owned by Triboro Crane & Rigging Services.

Templeton is bordered by Royalston and Winchendon to the north, Gardner to the east, Hubbardston to the southeast and Phillipston to the west. A Lamartine Street self-storage warehouse is proposed for redevelopment into 38 multifamily apartments, according to an application before the Conservation Commission. The project is located at 84, 90 and 91 Lamartine St. According to the application, the project will renovate an existing 3½-story, 43,000-square-foot warehouse at 90 Lamartine St. into 38 multifamily residential units. The building is now home to Worcester Self Storage. The adjacent former parking lot at 84 Lamartine St. will be redeveloped into new parking, while the former parking lot at 91 Lamartine St. across the street will be “graded for compensatory flood storage," loomed and seeded.

The steady increase of housing prices continued during June for Worcester County, according to the Warren Group, who reported that the county had 200 fewer single-family homes sold during last month with 786 sales — a drastic decrease when compared to the 987 sold during June 2021.  The difference was also reflected in prices, which popped up to $432,050 during June – an almost $40,000 increase from the $395,000 median during June 2021. In Massachusetts, the median price for single-family homes reached a record-breaking $610,000 during June.
