Celerium has introduced its Data Breach Defense Program for the healthcare sector in the US with a new line of defence against data breaches.
This initiative, featuring the company's Data Breach Defender solution, aims to protect healthcare systems, especially during vulnerable holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Thanksgiving, when breach risks escalate due to reduced IT staffing.
Celerium's Data Breach Defense Program is now accessible at no cost to the US healthcare sector until the end of this year.
The programme has already welcomed 40 hospitals and healthcare organisations, with participants reporting swift deployment and instant threat visibility.
Reeves Regional Health's chief information officer John Gresham said: "We deployed Celerium’s Data Breach Defender solution in just minutes, and the results were immediate and dramatic.
“The platform quickly delivered visibility into threats we hadn't previously detected, providing enterprise-grade protection without disrupting operations.”
Data Breach Defender offers a cloud-based cyber defence mechanism that provides automated, real-time protection by preventing, detecting and containing threats.
The solution, leveraging cybersecurity technology initially developed for the US Department of Defense, is specifically designed to identify early-stage breach activity to prevent damage, particularly during off-peak hours and holiday periods.
Remarkably, the implementation process is brief, taking approximately 30 minutes without the requirement for new hardware or software installations or maintenance.
Additionally, threat blocking is refined every 15 minutes to ensure optimal protection.
An IT director from Creative Care Arizona said: “I was amazed by the results immediately after completing the 30-minute implementation of Data Breach Defender.
“I could instantly see detailed threat activity targeting our organisation. The visibility into potential threats prompted me to enable automated blocking of the highest-risk activity, powered by Celerium. The solution is simple, actionable, and effective.”
"Celerium introduces Data Breach Defense Program for US healthcare sector" was originally created and published by Hospital Management, a GlobalData owned brand.
