Hair House, New Rochelle
When: May 31
Where: 360 Huguenot St.
What's it about?: Originating in the Bronx, Hair House is a boutique hair salon offering cuts, styling, color services, makeup services, manicures and pedicures as well as skin care treatments, mas. The salon is owned by Dana Fiore, a hairstylist with over 20 years experience. Fiore has worked with celebrities such as journalist and author Katie Couric, who attended the salon's New Rochelle opening.
The salon's hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday, customers are asked to "call for availability" for Monday appointments, and the salon is closed Sunday. For more information, check out hairhousenewro.com.

Arhaus, White Plains
When: June 3
Where: The Westchester, 125 Westchester Ave., Level 3
What's it about?: Home décor and furniture store Arhaus opened f its a 17,810 square-foot shop in The Westchester mall. Arhaus also offers design services where customers can receive help from the store's consultants on home projects.
This is the third New York location for the chain, with one in Rochester and another in Roslyn. The store is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. For more information, go to arhaus.com.
ClimbZone, West Nyack
When: June 1
Where: Palisades Center, 1000 Palisades Center Dr., Level 3
What's it about?: Announced in October 2021, ClimbZone in the Palisades Center has opened. The family-friendly climbing center features 34 painted climbing walls, including the Statue of Liberty, a map of the U.S. and more, and an auto belay system allowing climbers to climb and ascend without the assistance of someone else.
ClimbZone is in the space once occupied by the Palisades Center's double-decker carousel.
The climbing center is open Monday through Thursday 3 to 7 p.m., Friday 3 to 8 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, visit palisadescenter.com/tenants/climbzone or climbzone.us/palisades.
