Cboe Canada Welcomes Franklin Templeton for Launch of Three Low Volatility High Dividend ETFs

TORONTO, April 03, 2024--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Cboe Canada Inc. ("Cboe Canada") welcomes Franklin Templeton Canada ("Franklin Templeton") to ring the bell in celebration of the March 28th launch of three index tracking ETFs. The new funds are now active and trading on Cboe Canada under the symbols FLVC, FLVU, and FLVI.

The three new Franklin Templeton funds are as follows:

  • Franklin Canadian Low Volatility High Dividend Index ETF (FLVC) – seeks to replicate, to the extent possible, the performance of the Franklin Canadian Low Volatility High Dividend Index NTR (the "FLVC Index"). The FLVC Index is designed to provide stable income through investment in stocks of profitable Canadian companies with relatively high dividend yields and lower price and earnings volatility.

  • Franklin U.S. Low Volatility High Dividend Index ETF (FLVU) – seeks to replicate, to the extent possible, the performance of the Franklin Low Volatility High Dividend CAD Index NTR (the "FLVU Index"). The FLVU Index is designed to provide stable income through investment in stocks of profitable U.S. companies with relatively high dividend yields and lower price and earnings volatility in CAD currency.

  • Franklin International Low Volatility High Dividend Index ETF (FLVI) – seeks to replicate, to the extent possible, the performance of the Franklin International ex North America Low Volatility High Dividend CAD Index NTR (the "FLVI Index"). The Index seeks to provide stable income through investments in stocks of profitable companies in developed markets outside of the United States and Canada with relatively high dividend yields or anticipated dividend yields and lower price and earnings volatility in CAD currency.
