Integrated virtual healthcare solutions provider CareView Communications has entered into a new business agreement with Confluence Health to enhance patient safety through advanced virtual care solutions.
The partnership is poised to leverage CareView's Patient Safety System, which optimises virtual sitting outcomes using AI and patented predictive technology.
CareView Communications chief operating officer Sandra McRee said: “We are excited to partner with Confluence Health and expand the impact CareView has on patient safety and patient experience in the Pacific Northwest.
“Through recent business agreements, we have expanded our footprint in this area of the country and look forward to working with the Confluence Health team to deliver positive outcomes for their patients and staff.”
Confluence Health offers medical services across approximately 300 physicians, 170 advanced practice providers, and 30 medical specialities and has two hospitals and primary care services.
The integration of CareView's solutions aims to reduce patient falls and improve overall safety.
CareView's Patient Safety System, featuring innovations such as Virtual Bed Rails, allows for the continuous monitoring of multiple patients from a centralised location.
This not only enhances patient safety but also offers an alternative to traditional sitter services.
The synergy between CareView and Confluence Health is further strengthened by their shared connection with Premier, a group purchasing organisation.
CareView won a national group purchasing agreement for Virtual Care with Premier recently, which aligns with Confluence Health's existing GPO contract with the same organisation.
CareView has formed collaborations with more than 200 hospitals across the country, deploying inpatient virtual care strategies that significantly improve patient safety and address critical staffing issues.
"CareView partners with Confluence Health for patient safety" was originally created and published by Hospital Management, a GlobalData owned brand.
