Canada union, Ford negotiate past strike deadline
TORONTO, Nov 1 (Reuters) - The union that represents Canadian manufacturing workers at Ford Motor Co extended contract negotiations past a midnight strike deadline on Tuesday, saying in a statement that it was confident a deal could be reached.
The union, Unifor, instructed its members to stay at work while negotiations continue.
