CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls as energy and financial sector stocks decline

TORONTO, April 7 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index fell on Thursday as lower oil prices weighed on energy stocks, while financial sector stocks also lost ground.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 49.55 points, or 0.37 percent, at 13,297.91, shortly after the open. Eight of the index's 10 main groups were lower.
