Canada will delay second wave of retaliatory tariffs, finance minister says

(Reuters) - Canada will delay a planned second wave of retaliatory tariffs on C$125 billion of U.S. products until April 2, Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc said in a post on X on Thursday.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier in the day exempting goods from both Canada and Mexico under a North American trade pact for a month from the 25% tariffs that he had imposed earlier this week.
