His appointment comes as the Roman jeweler is seeking to beef up its leadership. In July, the company promoted Laura Burdese to the newly created role of deputy CEO.

A French national based in Switzerland, Brinbaum has been managing director of the Roman jeweler’s perfume division since 2022.

He is a graduate of France’s ESCP Business School and Oslo-based BI Norwegian Business School, holding a double masters’ degree in marketing and finance.

He began his career at consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble, where he stayed for eight years in marketing roles, most recently on its prestige lines, such as Lacoste and Escada perfumes as well as Dolce & Gabbana’s cosmetics.

Having joined the LVMH-owned jeweler in 2015, he served for more than four years as global marketing director of Bulgari Parfums before becoming managing director of the company’s travel retail business in Europe in 2020, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his role in Bulgari’s perfume division, the executive is credited with leading “the elevation and iconization progressive and coherent of the product toward high-end perfume,” the company stated.

Brinbaum’s successor at the head of Bulgari’s perfume division has not yet been named.
