NEW YORK, NEW YORK--(Marketwired - May 16, 2016) - Brookfield High Income Fund Inc. (HHY) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a decrease to its monthly distribution. The Board of Directors, upon the recommendation of the Fund's adviser and its portfolio management team, decreased the dividend based upon the current earnings of the Fund.
Brookfield High Income Fund Inc. declared a decrease to its monthly distribution from $0.075 per share to $0.060 per share, payable on June 23, 2016, to stockholders of record on June 16, 2016. The ex-distribution date is June 14, 2016. Based on the NYSE closing price of $7.31 on May 16, 2016, and the distribution of $0.060 per share, the Fund's annualized distribution rate was 9.85%.
