Brickburn Funds Streamlines Fund Line-Up

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Jan 8, 2015) - Brickburn Funds Inc. is committed to sustaining a strong and efficient product line-up to serve our investors' needs. As such, Brickburn Funds has decided to roll the Dominion Equity Resource Growth Fund into the Brickburn Small Cap Fund.

This change will reduce costs for all unit holders and more properly align investor needs with current offerings. The Brickburn Small Cap Fund will continue its current investment strategy and no significant changes in positions and weights are expected. The transaction is expected to occur on or about March 16, 2015, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval and will be effected on a tax deferred basis.

"This will lower costs and allows flexibility for the Brickburn Small Cap Fund to adjust holdings between sectors to better respond to market conditions. We think this will result in a strategy that is better aligned with investors' needs. In addition, after reviewing the two portfolios we do not think the composition of the Brickburn Small Cap Fund will be significantly changed after the transaction" said Portfolio Manager Evan Spiropoulos, CFA.

Security holder approvals for the transaction will be sought at a special meeting to be held on or about March 6, 2015. Materials will be delivered to security holders at least 21 days prior to the special meeting, with a record date of February 4, 2015.

Brickburn Funds expects to begin transitioning the investment portfolio of the Dominion Equity Resource Growth Fund in preparation for the transaction.
