Jan. 10—Bakersfield Police said Wednesday that a report from a caller who identified themself as a Walmart employee and threatened to shoot people was a false threat.

Officers who went to the Walmart at 8400 Rosedale Highway at the Northwest Promenade shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday night cleared the business and determined there was no threat to the community.
