Binary Tree Contributes Two Chapters to New Version of Office 365 for Exchange Professionals

KENDALL PARK, NJ--(Marketwired - September 08, 2015) - Binary Tree is proud to announce its contribution to Office 365 for Exchange Professionals, which will be released in September of this year. The second version of the groundbreaking e-book will be launched at the IT/DEV Connections Technology Conference taking place September 14-17, and includes information on all aspects of Office 365 -- from making the decision to embrace the cloud to completing the migration from on-premises servers. The first version of Office 365 for Exchange Professionals was released at the Microsoft Ignite conference in May 2015. The second edition brings the content completely up-to-date with all of the developments that have happened inside Office 365 since that time, including over 150 pages of new content. Binary Tree is the exclusive sponsor for the book, which also includes the third version slated to be released in April 2016.

The Office 365 for Exchange Professionals author team are all members of Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional (MVP) program and have extensive experience dealing with both on-premises and cloud systems. The authors are Tony Redmond, Michael Van Horenbeeck, and Paul Cunningham, and the technical editor is Jeff Guillet. Between them, the author team has over sixty years of experience working with Exchange.

Binary Tree technologists, led by CTO Vadim Gringolts, wrote a chapter describing how to make sure that Active Directory is bulletproofed to support the migration to and coexistence with Office 365. In addition, two of the firm's Exchange MVPs, Justin Harris and Gary Steere, and Val Vasquez, a Principal Solution Architect, contributed many tips and techniques based on their experience of working with customers around the world. Given the wealth of knowledge and experience contained in its nineteen chapters, Office 365 for Exchange Professionals is the 'go to' technical resource for enterprises moving their mailboxes to Microsoft's cloud.

"Active Directory deserved its own chapter in the Office 365 book, because it takes center stage for any Exchange transition, including one to Office 365," says Gringolts of Binary Tree. "Given the integration of Active Directory and the Exchange messaging system, an Active Directory update or even migration may come into play when a company decides to move its messaging platform to the cloud," Gringolts commented.

According to Tony Redmond, "Writing technical books in an age when technology evolves so quickly is a challenging task. We all have other jobs to do, and we simply could not afford to spend the time necessary to assemble the information contained in Office 365 for Exchange Professionals without the help of additional, experienced authors. We want to be able to publish new editions of the book to keep track of what happens inside Office 365 and that takes a lot of work and effort. Fortunately, we were able to get the necessary support from Binary Tree. We also received some great content for the book, covering the often intricate and difficult subject of how to sort out Active Directory infrastructures to make them compatible with the cloud."
