The name of this Australian-built 252-footer accurately describes its appearance and its capabilities. The aluminum hull and superstructure are a head-turning metallic silver, and, according to the builder, Silver Fast can reach a top speed of 27 knots. Designed by Monaco-based Espen Øino, the yacht features an upper deck that is reserved entirely for the owner’s apartment. In addition to a suite with twin bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe, the apartment includes an office, a living room, and a private sundeck. Another highlight is the “winter garden,” a glass-enclosed dining space on the main deck that accommodates 20 guests and can be heated or air-conditioned.
-
The yacht has a range of more than 6,000 nautical miles when traveling at 14 knots.
-
The garage stows two 24-foot custom tenders.
-
The foredeck includes a touch-and-go helipad.
-
Despite its size, Silver Fast has a draft of only 8.5 feet; zero-speed stabilizers prevent it from pitching and rolling at anchor.
