A new service director, and the retirement of the former, have been announced for Lubbock and Odessa's Averitt facilities.
Averitt, a provider of freight transportation and supply chain management solutions, named Ty Miller the new Service Center Director for the facilities at 6146 Cargo Road in Odessa and 1302 N. Ash Ave. in Lubbock. Miller joined the company as a Dallas frontline leader in 2021 and held various leadership roles, including transportation specialist.
The former director, Dewayne Williams, also announced his retirement after 20 years.
"Ty has demonstrated the leadership and drive necessary to take on this role," said Larry Mason, Vice President of Operations at Averitt. "We are confident that he will continue to elevate our team in Lubbock, and we thank Dewayne for his years of exceptional service to our company and community."
