The goal of this program is to improve the management of lymphoma. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:

1. Incorporate positron emission tomography (PET) into staging of Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

2. Evaluate the evidence concerning restaging, interim, and surveillance PET.

3. Recognize potential problems with use of PET, and the risk of basing treatment decisions on PET alone.

4. Differentiate among characteristics and prognoses associated with different cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs).

5. Select appropriate therapies for early- and advanced-stage CTCLs.

The original programs were presented by Bruce D. Cheson, MD, Professor of Medicine, Head of Hematology, and Deputy Chief, Division of Hematology-Oncology, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC, and H.
