Audi Honors 61 Dealers With 2013 Magna Society Awards

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwired - Apr 18, 2014) -

  • Recognized dealers represent the best of the best among all Audi retailers in the U.S.

  • Dealers must meet customer and business objectives set by Audi to earn the award

  • Audi dealers across the nation continue to invest in their network and focus on benchmark levels of customer and ownership experience

Audi honored its top performing dealerships in the U.S. with the Magna Society Awards, a reflection of the dealers' exceptional performance in 2013 as well as an increase in sales over the past year.

Overall, Audi awarded 61 dealers the 2013 Magna Society Awards. Each dealer was recognized for its outstanding level of customer service as well as strong business performance. Among the recipients, 12 dealerships were recognized as 2013 Audi Elite Magna Society winners, an honor reserved for standout performance as the best of the best.

The 12 2013 Audi Elite Magna Society Winners are: Stevens Creek Audi (CA), Hoffman Audi of New London (CT), New Orleans Audi (LA), Audi Burlington (MA), Audi Natick (MA), Audi Henderson (NV), Audi Willoughby (OH), Audi Wilsonville (OR), Audi Hilton Head (SC), Audi North Houston (TX), Audi Appleton (WI) and Audi North Shore (WI).

The Magna Society was established by Audi to recognize dealerships that rise above the fold as top performers. In order to qualify, dealerships must go beyond just meeting or exceeding sales targets. They need to prove they maintain a solid foundation, merit high customer satisfaction scores and demonstrate their facilities and staffs represent the progressive Audi culture.

"As Audi continues to develop its dealer network across the United States, the brand continues to make progress toward the goal of becoming the country's top luxury automaker," said Mark Del Rosso, EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Audi of America. "The Annual Magna Society Awards recognize those dealers that lead by example through a successful business model and help drive the goals of the entire Audi brand."

The Magna Society awards fit with long-range plans established by Audi and its franchise partners to make Audi facilities more exclusive. In 2013, the number of dealership locations exclusively selling Audi models increased by the end of the year to 161 in the U.S. from 15 dealerships operating in 1999. Audi also increased its share of the U.S. imported luxury car segment to 10.1% based on record annual U.S. sales of 158,061 units in 2013.
