• Arca Continental joins the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index 2024, ranking among the 300 most sustainable public companies in the world.

MONTERREY, Mexico, January 16, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arca Continental (BMV: AC), one of the world's largest Coca-Cola bottlers and parent company of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB), announced today that it has been included in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), positioning it among the 300 publicly traded companies globally that stand out in terms of sustainability.

Entering DJSI World involves passing an exhaustive evaluation of 600 indicators, covering areas such as corporate governance, ethics, risk management, environmental and social practices.

Some of the sustainability strategies that contributed to this achievement include:

Through PetStar, it currently recovers 74% of the bottles it puts on the Mexican market, strengthening its position as the leading PET recycler in Mexico and a top bottler in the United States, producing bottles with an average of 50% recycled resin.

• Transformational alliances: 97% of its suppliers are local, helping them achieve high standards of quality and efficiency, operating under ethical, social, and environmental principles. Additionally, it supports nearly one million small businesses with development and digitalization programs.
