April deals: Get a Chipotle freebie through DoorDash, plus other specials to end the month

Forget about April showers bringing flowers.
April brought big freebie and deal days starting with April Fools' Day and on into the first week of the month, which served up National Burrito Day and National Beer Day.
The month's almost over but there remain good deals to be had including a special delivery treat Tuesday from DoorDash and Chipotle.
Here are the deals, big days and ongoing specials, available at participating locations. To be on the safe side, always check with your closest location before heading out. Also, some will require you to have a restaurant's app or be signed up for emails.

The frozen drinks infused with Red Bull start at $2.99. Red Bull Energy Drink cans are also available for anyone who crave the original drink for $2.99.
According to the Sonic website, the drinks are not recommended for children, pregnant or nursing women and persons sensitive to caffeine. Add-ins cost extra.
On Tuesday, April 30, DoorDash customers in the U.S. and Canada can get free chips and guacamole on Chipotle orders $10 or more with promo code CHIPSNGUAC. This offer only applies to orders placed exclusively through DoorDash.com or the DoorDash mobile app.
This freebie is not valid for pickup or dine-in and there’s a limit of one per person. Fees, taxes and gratuity apply, according to the full offer details.
Then on Sunday, May 5 for Cinco de Mayo, the on-demand delivery service is offering free delivery on Chipotle orders $10 or more placed through DoorDash, the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. No promo code is needed but the maximum order size for free delivery is $200, excluding tax.
DoorDash delivers from more than 2,200 Chipotle locations. According to DoorDash, burrito bowls were the No. 1 selling item from Chipotle on the service and ordered two times as frequently as normal burritos.
April 22-May 4: Target car seat trade-in
Through Saturday, May 4, Target stores will accept and recycle car seats, including infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats.
In exchange for the old car seat, get a coupon for 20% off "a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear, such as playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers."
The seats can be traded in only at a Target store at Guest Services. The coupons can be used in-store and online through May 11. Learn more here.
Del Taco's new Beyond Taco and Beyond Avocado Taco launch Thursday, April 25 and will cost $2.49 each. But customers with the Del Taco app can try one for free starting when they enter promo code “Beyond” into the app. No purchase necessary and the offer is valid for seven days at participating restaurants. Download the app at www.deltaco.com/app.
The promotion is scheduled to last seven days or through May 2.
Bahama Breeze is celebrating Cinco de Mayo through May 31. Through Friday, May 31, the chain has $5 classic margaritas and $10 Create Your Own Premium Tequila and Rum Flights at participating locations.
Originally the party was supposed to end on Sunday, May 5 but now will be available through the end of May at participating locations except for Mother's Day.
April 30: S'mores returns to Starbucks
S'mores return to Starbucks on Tuesday, April 30 for the summer, plus it's a Double Star Day for loyalty members.
Applebee’s: The April drink of the month is the Strawberry Dollarita, which is made with tequila, strawberry and margarita mix, served on the rocks and with a Twizzlers candy garnish. The drink costs $1 at participating locations.
Chili’s: The $5 Margarita for April is the “Straw-Eddy ‘Rita,” which is made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, fresh sour and strawberry purée.
Dunkin’: In April, get medium Cold Brew for $2 from 2 to 6 p.m. at participating locations.
Instacart: For Earth Day and the month of April, Seventh Generation and Instacart are teaming up to provide free grocery delivery during the month of April. Purchase $20 worth of Seventh Generation products to receive the deal.
Olive Garden: Through May 27, the chain has four new “Giant Italian Classics” including a Giant Chicken Parmigiana at nearly a foot-long and the Giant Meatball, which weighs about 12 ounces. Giant Italian Classics are served with unlimited breadsticks, homemade soup or salad with prices starting at $12.99.
Sonic Drive-In: For a limited time, get the new BBLT for $3.99 with a side of medium Tots. The fast-food chain says there's so much bacon in the sandwich, there’s an extra B.
