Anord Expands Engineering Team With Mission-Critical Facilities Engineer and Military Veteran

SANDSTON, VA--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2016) - Anord Critical Power, Inc. (ACPI), a recognized leader and innovator in the power distribution market, today announced the appointment of Perry Jones as Engineering Manager. Jones will be located in the company's Virginia facility and assumes responsibility of product oversight, specification, and O&M document development.

Jones brings turbine power generation, high, medium and low voltage power transmission, as well as distribution design and construction experience to the ACPI team. In addition, he specializes in mission-critical facilities design, facility construction/commissioning, as well as on-going operation/maintenance. Prior to joining ACPI, Jones' previous industry experience included contract/construction document review, budgeting, scheduling and project management of critical-power and environmental control systems installations. Additionally, he was involved in the development and execution of mission-critical facilities electrical and mechanical systems commissioning.

Jones also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. During his 27 years of dedicated service on active and reserve duty, he piloted various military aircraft such as the UH-1 Huey, UH-60 Blackhawk and C-12 Huron as a multi-tour combat veteran. He was awarded the designation of Master Army Aviator, and was awarded the Bronze Star, the Air Medal, multiple Meritorious Service Medals and numerous other military decorations. Perry received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute, attended the Darden School of Business Administration: Executive Education Program and achieved an Energy Manager certificate from the Association of Energy Engineers.
