Americans Are Joking About Moving to Canada During Close Election
As Election Night delivers a much closer race than expected between presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, many U.S. citizens say they’re considering fleeing to Canada.
Americans joke about moving north of the border during pretty much every presidential election, but the stressful Tuesday night has people pulling blowing the dust off their luggage.
Our neighbor in the north appears to be welcoming.
Canadian publication Maclean’s Magazine even set up a camera in Vermont on the Canada-U.S. border to see if any Americans cross over after the election.
