Recently, the Company announced it has executed and closed a lease agreement for 20 acres of an agricultural farming facility located in South Florida bordering Lake Okeechobee and the Loxahatchee River in Palm Beach County through its subsidiary Agritech Venture Holdings Inc. The new agreement includes a 10 year lease on the producing nursery farm with unlimited water sources and electricity including infrastructure already in place, with the first year obligation paid in full. The land can be used by future potential licensees in Florida as an approved medical growing operation which will allow separation from existing nursery, fruit and vegetable operations which include the use of pesticides that cannot be in proximity of a medical marijuana site. The Company's plans would provide infrastructure, greenhouses, consulting and security to the potential licensee once chosen by the state.

"The fact that we are being noticed in Florida as a recognized leader and the only public company within the sector is of extreme importance as this legislation unfolds. We are hopeful that Agritek Holdings with its many resources in Colorado and our home base in Florida can be of assistance to the legislative branch and the Florida Department of Health to be considered as a viable partner in Florida once this legislation is approved. Further, I have recently accepted a board position with the Florida Medical Cannabis Association, the only recognized association within the state that represents potential applicants, works with legislators, lobbyists and medical professionals that will provide guidance and expect to help shape legislation as it comes to pass. I truly believe Agritek Holdings is in the best position as a potential designated partner to the five potential licensees as a Florida based public Company, managed by Florida residents and over 10 years of industry experience within the sector," stated B. Michael Friedman, CEO of Agritek Holdings.
