With over 30 years of experience in designing, innovating and manufacturing denim, Pakistani company Artistic Garment Industries (AGI) Denim is leveraging its expertise to bridge the gap between brands’ aspirations and its own insights. Its latest “one-stop-shop” solution is a testament to that.
Last year, the vertically integrated B Corp launched The Agency, an in-house creative solution designed to meet evolving industry needs. According to Carl Chiara, global creative director at AGI Denim and head of The Agency, the concept stemmed from AGI’s desire to provide brands with a more collaborative and innovative approach to design.

“Initially, brands sought opportunities for co-creation, but this need expanded into a broader demand for comprehensive design support,” Chiara continued. “Recognizing this, AGI Denim launched The Agency to provide brands with tailored design and development services that align with their evolving creative and technical requirements.”
To fulfill this vision, The Agency merges a brand’s ideas and goals with AGI Denim’s three decades of knowledge, enhancing support to offer a unique, highly customized service. These offerings include trend decks, fit catalogs, wash stacks, specialized insights and rapid prototyping in both digital formats—such as 3D designs and AI-generated visuals—as well as physical formats.
With The Agency, brands can choose their level of involvement in the process, from hands-on participation to fully entrusting The Agency with design and development work. The collaboration is flexible and bespoke, Chiara noted, tailored to meet each brand’s goals, team skill levels and desired outcomes.

Although the service has only been available for a little over a year, Chiara noted that the industry’s response to The Agency has been “highly favorable,” recognizing it as a “powerful extension” of AGI Denim’s collaborative development and product design support integration.
