Accor is set to support its ongoing expansion and meetings and events business with the development of a new digital ecosystem.
The platform will integrate more than 5,600 of the group's hotels and resorts, offering 2.5 million square metres of event space and over 800,000 guest rooms.
The solution complements the support from on-site hotel teams to provide a self-service option for clients to book event spaces and rooms.
The pre-launch version of this global website is expected later this year, initially catering to sales teams and small accommodation group bookings of up to 30 guest rooms.
By early 2026, the platform will expand to include a broader range of features, such as online booking for meeting rooms and residential seminars.
The system will also offer connectivity to external channels and enhance the booking experience for meeting planners and business clients.
MeetingPackage, an online reservation system, will serve as the foundation for Accor's new platform. It will link sales and catering tools to the company's website and third-party channels.
The ecosystem is a collaborative effort with technology providers such as Oracle, Backyou, iVvy and Amadeus, each contributing their expertise to enhance the management of meetings and events across Accor's global portfolio.
Oracle OPERA Cloud Sales and Event Management, a cloud-based application, will be fully connected with MeetingPackage and the Accor Ecosystem.
It will be available in three versions to cater to different hotel categories, ensuring a unified approach to hotel department management.
Similarly, Backyou will serve small and medium-sized meetings and events hotels in Europe and North Africa while iVvy will be the preferred solution for Accor hotels in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
Amadeus' Delphi will continue to be used by more than 250 Accor properties in the premium and luxury segments.
Accor's chief sales and revenue officer Julien Houdebine said: “At Accor, we are fortunate to collaborate with best-in-class technology providers who are helping us create a seamless and efficient user experience.
“Through this new digital meetings and events ecosystem, Accor’s entire event inventory will become more visible, accessible, and appealing. Our venues will be recognised as top destinations to gather with colleagues, clients, friends, or family.”
Earlier this year, Accor's lifestyle loyalty programme, ALL, announced a collaboration with Uber to enhance guest travel experiences in Australia and New Zealand.
