French hospitality group Accor has signed an agreement with Bayview International Hotels & Resorts for a significant expansion in Australia and New Zealand.
The partnership includes the management of three properties set to transition this month, marking a strategic enhancement of Accor's Pacific presence.

These three properties are well-loved by locals and visitors alike, and we are thrilled to bring them into the Accor family.
“Our vision is to elevate their guest experiences through our powerful brands, ALL loyalty programme, and world-class service offering.”
The three properties are the Sydney Boulevard Hotel and Bayview Geographe Resort in Australia, and Wairakei Resort Taupo in New Zealand. These will undergo refurbishments before being rebranded under Accor's portfolio.
The Sydney Boulevard Hotel in East Sydney offers 277 guest rooms, including seven suites, as well as a restaurant and café, 11 meeting areas, and a ballroom. An exclusive meeting space on the property’s top floor features views of Sydney Harbour and the CBD.
Located in Busselton, Western Australia, Bayview Geographe Resort provides guests with 137 rooms and a variety of villas. Leisure facilities at the property include a tennis court, a golf putting green, an indoor heated swimming pool, and direct beach access.
Wairakei Resort Taupo, situated in a geothermal region, features 187 guest rooms and a range of amenities, including a golf course and conference facilities.

This agreement reflects the shared values of our two companies and our deep commitment to long-term success.
“Our approach is to stand side-by-side with our development partners – bringing an owners’ mindset, offering guidance and unwavering support throughout the unique lifecycle of every property."
The properties will continue to operate under their current name until the refurbishments are complete.
Bayview International Hotel & Resorts' projects and product development vice-president Derek Yan said: "With Accor’s global expertise and strong brand portfolio, we are confident that these hotels will thrive, offering even greater experiences for our valued guests. It reaffirms our commitment to growth and excellence in the region.”
