Electric vehicle sales continue to rise, with over 100,000 EVs sold every month for the past six months, Cox Automotive reported. And EVs are becoming (slightly) more budget friendly, too. The report found that the average transaction price for new EVs was $56,328 in September, down 0.5% month over month.

While that’s higher than the average transaction price for all cars — $48,397 — thanks to incentive offers, it’s possible to lease an EV for comparable or even lower prices than gas-powered vehicles.
