The Nasdaq Composite just perked up thanks to Nvidia and other key technology stocks. The S&P 500 was down only 0.2%, and its tech sector was up 0.1%. The Dow, which has the lowest exposure to tech stocks among the big three, was still down 324 points, or 0.8%.
