Whether you’re off to see family or are simply enjoying a long weekend away, you can once again expect crowded airports and long lines at security checkpoints this Thanksgiving. The Transportation Security Administration is expecting the “busiest Thanksgiving travel period on record,” projecting 18.3 million people will pass through its airport checkpoints from the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to the Monday after the big day. “Passengers will be entitled to a refund if their flight is canceled or significantly changed, and they do not accept alternative transportation or travel credits offered,” according to the Transportation website.
