Nvidia stock fell again early Monday as the company remained in the crossfire of escalating U.S.-China trade tensions, even as CEO Jensen Huang did his part to try to mitigate the negative impacts of a trade war. On Monday, Huang met Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, following a meeting with Chinese leaders in Beijing on Thursday. Huang met Ren Hongbin, head of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, telling him that “China is a very important market for Nvidia”, according to state broadcaster CCTV.
