Aerospace and defense specialist RTX expects to take an $850 million hit in 2025 from tariffs, even after cost-cutting measures, price increases and various duty exemptions. The calculations don’t factor in higher “reciprocal” tariffs that the Trump administration put on pause, or potential trade-war escalations that could upend the company’s planning, RTX Chief Financial Officer Neil Mitchill said.
