Aaron Levie, chief executive of Box, says CEOs in Silicon Valley are worried that American innovation will be stifled as a result of the broad-based tariff regime President Trump rolled out this week. “CEOs with large global supply chains can’t be outspoken on this topic publicly because they need to cut deals,” Levie wrote in a post on X. “But this is the tone of the convos happening right now.” Ives said that he spoke with hundreds of investors, tech CEOs and supply chain experts to gauge the impact of the new tariffs on virtually every country in the world.
