Nvidia tumbled 9.4% Tuesday, which put it on pace for its largest percentage decrease since April 19. Other chip makers also dropped: Intel was down 8.8%, Advanced Micro Devices slid 7.8%, Qualcomm fell 6.9%, and Broadcom was down 6.3%. The selloff looked like it was part of a rotation away from high-priced growth stocks rather than being driven by anything specific to the chip sector.
